Basketball Recap: Carmello Williams' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Oberlin over Cuyahoga Heights + How To Watch

Oberlin lost against Cuyahoga Heights back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Phoenix fell 53-46 to the Red Wolves.

Oberlin's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carmello Williams, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Williams is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Drew Walters was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds.

Oberlin's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cuyahoga Heights, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oberlin will take on Keystone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they will challenge Beachwood at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Red Wolves' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
