On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Grace Christian beat Tournament Opponent 43-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grace Christian.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grace Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Wiebe, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jonathen Holderby, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

Grace Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Tournament Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 69-258 record this season.

Grace Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cross Lanes Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. One thing working in Cross Lanes Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Tournament Opponent, they will square off against San Gabriel Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (San Gabriel Academy has three straight wins, Tournament Opponent has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
