Softball Recap: Bellevue West Takes a Loss

Bellevue West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 14-6 to the Millard South Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-6 loss on Saturday.

Jaycee Woodard made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Phephles, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Bellevue West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Millard South, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Patriots beat Bellevue West by a score of 14-6 later that day.
