Basketball Recap: Ranney's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Ranney unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 62-53 to the Blair Academy Bucs. While losing is never fun, Ranney can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Blair Academy is ranked sixth).

Ranney's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for Blair Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ranney will challenge Trinity Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blair Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Pennington at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
