Meanwhile, Wyoming Area came up short against Holy Redeemer on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 23-25, 25-15.

Wyoming Area has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Hanover Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Hanover Area might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Wyoming Area in their previous matchup back in September of 2024.
