Basketball Recap: Bradenton Christian Takes a Loss

Bradenton Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 56-36 to the Port Charlotte Pirates. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Bradenton Christian still got an impressive performance from Lana Price, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. That was a full 47.2% of Bradenton Christian's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Bradenton Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Port Charlotte, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
