Basketball Recap: Collins-Maxwell Comes Up Short

If Collins-Maxwell was feeling good fresh off their 90-28 takedown of Meskwaki Settlement on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Collins-Maxwell took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Don Bosco Dons on Saturday. Collins-Maxwell lost against Don Bosco in their previous head to head back in January of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 78-42 score last time.

Collins-Maxwell's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Don Bosco, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Collins-Maxwell will challenge Woodward Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Don Bosco has already played their next contest (against Collins-Maxwell-Baxter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
