Softball Recap: Immanuel Christian Comes Up Short

The Immanuel Christian Crusaders came up short against the Quartz Hill Royals on Wednesday, falling 19-5. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ava Blakie made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Immanuel Christian now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Quartz Hill, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Immanuel Christian will head out to face off against Trona at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Tornadoes have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. As for Quartz Hill, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Lancaster on the 9th.
