Recap: Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca Wolves vs. East Panthers
The Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell to East 65-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game back in December of 2023 (58), Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jussean Pearsall, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Pearsall hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhondell Johnson, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for East, they pushed their record up to 4-9 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca will take on Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverside is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for East, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against McKinley at 6:00 p.m.
