Soccer Game Preview: Tolman vs. Cranston West

The Tolman Tigers will face off against the Cranston West Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cranston West took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tolman, who comes in off a win.

Tolman is coming into the match on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They blew past Central 5-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Cranston West faced Bishop Hendricken in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Falcons fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-2. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Cranston West couldn't quite close it out.

Matteo Ingiardi and Nate Zarone scored both of Cranston West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Tolman's win bumped their record up to 3-6-1. As for Cranston West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3-4.

Tolman beat Cranston West 4-2 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
