Brennon Russell put up the most receiving yards he's had since back in November of 2024 on Friday. He picked up 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Wolfe City's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Russell and Wolfe City will be playing in front of their home fans against Alvord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Russell up against the Bulldogs' star wideout Brayden Clark.
