Volleyball Recap: Rochelle Comes Up Short

Rochelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newman Central Catholic Comets.

Rochelle's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Newman Central Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.

Rochelle has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pecatonica on the 4th. As for Newman Central Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Erie-Prophetstown on the 4th.
