Baseball Recap: Canyon View Victorious

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Canyon View ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Delta Rabbits 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Rabbits: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Noah Sandoval, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Canyon View's success: when he posts at least one home run the team is 2-1 (and 6-9 when he doesn't). Cannon Williams also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Canyon View lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2025.

Canyon View's record now sits at 8-10. As for Delta, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Canyon View beat the Rabbits by a score of 7-3 later that day.
