Baseball Recap: Washtenaw Christian Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Washtenaw Christian Academy took on Whiteford on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bobcats, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Monday.

Washtenaw Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Whiteford, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Looking ahead, Washtenaw Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Washtenaw Christian Academy's pitchers better be ready for this one: Faith Christian has averaged an impressive 11.9 runs per game this season. As for Whiteford, they will host Ottawa Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
