There's no place like home for Vian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Pocola Indians 41-20 on Friday. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Vian had a senior duo take command as Masyn Wright gained 159 total yards and a touchdown and Draighton Fletcher gained 75 total yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 61 yards.

One reason for the win was Vian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Garritt Hunt was the leader with three. Vian received some extra help from Hunt, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

When it comes to explaining why Pocola lost, don't look at Jaseir Posey. Despite the final result, he threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns. Posey is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Vian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pocola, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Vian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 47-14 victory against Spiro on the 26th. As for Pocola, they have also already played their next matchup, a 50-0 win against Warner on the 26th.
