North Cobb Christian came tearing into Friday's contest with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Coahulla Creek Colts by a score of 62-53. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Colts are ranked 287th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Cobb Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grant Robich, who went 9-for-13 to rack up 21 points and three steals. Robich is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Isaiah Chandler was another key player, going 5-for-8 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds.

North Cobb Christian's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Coahulla Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season.
