Baseball Recap: Keokuk Takes a Loss

Keokuk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Madison Bloodhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bloodhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 on Monday.

Keokuk's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fort Madison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Keokuk has already played their next contest (against West Burlington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Fort Madison, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Van Buren County on the 4th.
