Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Warriors vs. First Baptist Christian Warriors
After soaring to 46 points the game before, The Legacy Christian Academy Warriors were a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They were dealt a 53-6 defeat at the hands of First Baptist Christian. While losing is never fun, Legacy Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 179th, while First Baptist Christian is ranked seventh).
CJ Linscomb threw for 49 yards and a touchdown. Disiah jones was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards. On the ground, Prestin Simon gained 91 total yards and a touchdown.
Legacy Christian Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for First Baptist Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
