Football Recap: Monroe Area's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Monroe Area was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. The game between the Purple Hurricanes and the Jefferson Dragons didn't end well, with the Purple Hurricanes falling 22-7. The contest marked the Purple Hurricanes' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ezra Harrison threw for 26 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Cooper Shumate rushed for 64 yards.

Monroe Area's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Jefferson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
