Soccer Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

If Carlisle was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West York Area last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Thundering Herd fell just short of the Central Dauphin Rams by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Central Dauphin this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Carlisle's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Central Dauphin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Carlisle wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Cumberland Valley on the 24th. As for Central Dauphin, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against State College on the 24th.
