Soccer Recap: Fort Campbell Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Fort Campbell was not quite Logan County's equal in the second half on Thursday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 4-1. Fort Campbell were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Logan County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Fort Campbell's goal came courtesy of ROBERT CHARLES, who's now up to five this season.

Fort Campbell has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Logan County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Campbell will square off against Fort Knox at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fort Campbell will be up against Fort Knox's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.88 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Logan County, they will venture away from home to take on Hopkinsville at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
