Basketball Recap: West De Pere Comes Up Short

If West De Pere was riding high fresh off their 88-38 takedown of Seymour last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The West De Pere Phantoms lost 63-39 to the Kimberly Papermakers on Monday. The matchup marked the Phantoms' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

West De Pere's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Kimberly, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.

West De Pere will square off against New London at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 296 places (39 vs. 335). West De Pere is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Similarly, Kimberly (ranked fourth) will meet Fond du Lac (ranked 216th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
