Baseball Game Preview: Badin Rams vs. Springboro Panthers

The Badin Rams will challenge the Springboro Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Badin is coming into the game hot, having won their last 15 games.

Badin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: Elder, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Badin was ranked second). The Rams walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Panthers on Wednesday.

Brooks Treadway looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Keegan Sawyer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Springboro had just enough and edged out Troy 7-6 on Tuesday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Springboro's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Badin, their win bumped their record up to 19-3.

Badin beat Springboro 5-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
