Smiths Station got themselves on the board against Percy Julian on Wednesday, but Percy Julian never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Phoenix 41-0. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Brooke Norred threw for 192 yards and six touchdowns while completing 82.4% of her passes. Lynzie Mounce was her top target, picking up 74 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Janiya Jones rushed for 28 yards.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Smiths Station, bringing their record up to 9-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.0 points on average over those games. As for Percy Julian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, Smiths Station will square off against Enterprise at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Percy Julian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
