Basketball Recap: Quinton Comes Up Short

If Quinton was riding high fresh off their 61-12 takedown of Blair on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Quinton Savages had to suffer through a 54-22 loss at the hands of the Merritt Oilers. The match marked the Savages' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Quinton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Merritt, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season.

Quinton will head out to challenge Warner at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Merritt, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-37 win against Seiling on the 25th.
