Basketball Recap: West Fargo Comes Up Short

West Fargo lost against Fargo Davies back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Fargo Packers took an 84-71 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fargo Davies Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Packers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Eagles are ranked eighth).

West Fargo dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fargo Davies, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

West Fargo will square off against Fargo South at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Fargo's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches. As for Fargo Davies, they will challenge Red River at 7:15 p.m. on January 28th.
