Baseball Recap: Midland Classical Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Midland Classical Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They never let the Presidio Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Ethan Harris looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Henry Friez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Levi Bayley was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Midland Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Presidio, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Midland Classical Academy has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Fort Stockton on the 22nd. As for Presidio, they will be taking part in a tournament against Comfort at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
