Volleyball Recap: Gilmer Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Gilmer duked it out with Lakeside on Saturday. The Bobcats fell 2-0 to the Panthers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-10.

Gilmer's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Lakeside, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

Gilmer has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Union County on the 20th. As for Lakeside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Stephens County on the 20th.
