Football Recap: Millry Comes Up Short

The matchup between Millry and Leroy on Friday hardly resembled the 19-7 effort from their previous meeting. The Wildcats were outmatched by the Bears and fell 51-14. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Jace Sellers had a dynamite game For Leroy., throwing for 233 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes. What's more, Sellers racked up 145 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Ayden Tolbert, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Millry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Leroy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Millry and Leroy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wildcats see the field they'll take on McKenzie at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. As for Leroy, their break will end when they face Elba at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
