Softball Preview: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. Mission Vista        
        
		
            The Sage Creek Bobcats will head out to  square off against Mission Vista  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Mission Vista took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Sage Creek, who comes in off a win.
Sage Creek is headed into the  contest having just  posted their closest  victory since February 25th on Saturday. They skirted past Olympian  5-4. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Bobcats.
 Kaimana Coleman was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with two  doubles, one  run,  and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in May of 2024.  Torii Ramirez was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
 Sage Creek was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .438. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in three consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Mission Vista's offense. They came up short against  La Costa Canyon on Thursday, falling  18-0. The  loss   continues a  trend for Mission Vista in their meetings with La Costa Canyon: they've now lost five in a row.
 The  win  got Sage Creek back to even at 8-8-1. As for Mission Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
Mission Vista's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Sage Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .318. It's a different story for Mission Vista, though, as  they've  only  averaged .205. Will they be able to contain Sage Creek's hitters?
