Olathe East is 8-1 against Olathe South since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons. Olathe East is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

While Olathe East's victory against Lawrence Free State wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks had just enough and edged out the Firebirds 2-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Olathe South and Olathe Northwest faced off in a cross-town battle on Tuesday. The Falcons fell just short of the Ravens by a score of 2-1. Olathe South have struggled against Olathe Northwest recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Olathe South's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-2. As for Olathe East, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Olathe East beat Olathe South 2-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
