Baseball Recap: Hammond Comes Up Short

The matchup between Hammond and Church Point on Saturday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Tornadoes lost 15-8 to the Bears. The loss leaves the Tornadoes still looking for their first win of the season.

Hammond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Church Point, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hammond will venture away from home to challenge South Terrebonne at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Church Point, they will head out to take on Delcambre at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
