After a string of six wins, Hackleburg's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a hard 71-56 fall against the Hamilton Aggies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 63-52 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Hackleburg's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6. As for Hamilton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-14.

Hackleburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-39 win against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy on the 25th. Hamilton has also already played their next matchup (against Winfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
