Soccer Game Preview: Perryton vs. West Plains

Perryton hasn't had much luck against West Plains recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Perryton Rangers will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Plains Wolves at 5:00 p.m.

Perryton fell victim to Canyon and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, West Plains entered their tilt with Hereford on Friday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Whitefaces a 10-0 shutout. Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Hereford from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Mya Bartlett led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

West Plains' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for Perryton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
