Basketball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Comes Up Short

Bradley-Bourbonnais was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 53-45 to the Normal West Wildcats. The Boilermakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Normal West, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Bradley-Bourbonnais and Normal West could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Bradley-Bourbonnais (ranked 442nd) will meet Stagg (ranked 152nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Normal West will challenge Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 240 places (257 vs. 17).
