Softball Recap: Bonny Eagle Victorious

Bonny Eagle hadn't done well against Windham recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Scots came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 10-6. This was payback for the Scots, who suffered a 10-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bonny Eagle got a great performance from Lily Regan as she struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off 11 hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Reese Bryant, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Catherine Lopresti, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Bonny Eagle now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Windham, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
