Soccer Game Preview: Lynnwood vs. Snohomish

The Lynnwood Royals will venture away from home to challenge the Snohomish Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lynnwood's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lynnwood's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Mountlake Terrace, sneaking past 1-0. That's two games straight that Lynnwood have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Snohomish sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Marysville-Pilchuck on Friday.

Lynnwood's win bumped their record up to 5-10-1. As for Snohomish, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-3.

Lynnwood took their win against Snohomish in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 5-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
