Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South). They were the clear victors by an 18-5 margin over the Mifflin Punchers on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

South's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Mifflin, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South will challenge East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.8 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mifflin, they will host Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Punchers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Stars have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
