Volleyball Recap: Tri-Village Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Tri-Village barely beat Preble Shawnee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots blew past the Arrows 3-0 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won three games in a row.

Gabby Kirby paced Tri-Village's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kirby got some help from Zoe Ayette and her 26 assists. Mylee Bierly controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Tri-Village's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Preble Shawnee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Tri-Village has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Houston on the 30th. After both having extra time off, Preble Shawnee and Dixie will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
