Crestview came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Liberty-Benton Eagles with a 49-44 victory. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Eagles are ranked 268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crestview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kennedy Crider led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. Crider has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ellie Kline, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 17 points and five boards.

Crestview is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 33.3% in those games and 28.8% outside of them. As for Liberty-Benton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.
