Volleyball Recap: Andrean Takes a Loss

Andrean lost against Elkhart back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fighting 59ers fell 2-0 to the Lions.

Despite the loss, Andrean still got an impressive performance from Dani Poskin, who had 20 digs and one assist. Poskin is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Leading Elkhart to victory were Ava Walker and Teagan Scott. Walker had ten digs, while Scott had seven digs.

Andrean's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Elkhart, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Andrean wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Warsaw on the 13th. As for Elkhart, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Carroll on the 13th.
