Basketball Game Preview: Highlands Owls vs. Edison Golden Bears

Highlands and Edison are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Highlands Owls will take on the Edison Golden Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Highlands will be strutting in after a victory while Edison will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Highlands strolled past Seguin with points to spare, taking the game 58-44.

Meanwhile, Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-39 heartbreaker at the hands of Seguin.

Highlands' win bumped their record up to 19-13. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 14-17.

Highlands couldn't quite finish off Edison when the teams last played back in January and fell 54-52. Can Highlands avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
