 It was a good run, but  Scott unfortunately witnessed the end of their  12-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cimarron Bluejays by a score of  5-4. Scott was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cimarron apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in April of 2023.
  Cheyenne Cramer was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she  struck out 13 batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). Cramer has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Cramer was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Malorie Cupp made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Scott  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 13  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cimarron only tossed eight.
 On Cimarron's side,  Quinn Campbell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Brooklyn Dye, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Scott's loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-3. As for Cimarron, their win was  their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 15-2.
 Coincidentally,  the pair will both be playing Hugoton the next time they take the field. Scott will  host Hugoton at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while Cimarron will play them later in the day, at 2:00  p.m.
