Baseball Recap: Clewiston Takes a Loss

Clewiston and North Broward Prep squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Clewiston had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this contest were averaging 2.71 runs allowed.

Clewiston has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season. As for North Broward Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Clewiston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Broward Prep, they will square off against American Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.9, the Stallions 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
