Recap: Del Sol Dragons vs. Cimarron-Memorial Spartans
The Del Sol Dragons and the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Del Sol Dragons had to settle for second. They were dealt a 69-38 loss at the hands of the Spartans. Del Sol was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-17.
Del Sol lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chanel King, who scored 13 points. Morgan White was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Del Sol's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Del Sol does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Legacy at 6:30 p.m. Legacy will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Cimarron-Memorial surely won't give up without a fight.
