Basketball Recap: Northwest Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

Northwest won the last time they faced Westgate and things went their way on Friday too. The Northwest Raiders took down the Westgate Tigers 44-26.

Northwest is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Westgate, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will head out to challenge DeRidder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest is facing DeRidder at the right time seeing as DeRidder is stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Westgate, they will face off against Kaplan at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kaplan will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Westgate surely won't give up without a fight.
