Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collegiate). Everything went their way against the St. Margaret's Scotties on Thursday as they made off with a 10-0 win. Give Collegiate's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting St. Margaret's from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Carly Barnes led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Collegiate pushed their record up to 12-0-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those seven matches. As for St. Margaret's, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Collegiate will host Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Midlothian will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Collegiate surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Margaret's, they will face off against St. Catherine's at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
