Basketball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 67-25 loss at the hands of the Portland Raiders. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Portland, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Coming up, Lakewood will take on Sexton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Portland, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Zeeland West at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
