Basketball Recap: Davis County Comes Up Short

If Davis County was riding high fresh off their 56-31 takedown of Knoxville last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Davis County Mustangs took a blow against the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets on Tuesday, falling 59-25. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Davis County's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Davis County will challenge Knoxville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, they will square off against Cardinal at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont is facing Cardinal at the right time seeing as Cardinal is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
