Football Recap: Stroudsburg Comes Up Short

Stroudsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Emmaus Hornets, falling 48-10. While losing is never fun, the Mountaineers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Hornets are ranked 59th).

Stroudsburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Emmaus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Stroudsburg and Emmaus will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Mountaineers will challenge rival Pocono Mountain East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Emmaus is set to face off against their familiar foe Easton Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
